Ft. Thomas Corvette Club

Our History & Mission Statement

The FTCC's first meeting was in September, 1995, at Kerry Chevrolet, our first sponsor, in its dealer showroom in Alexandria, KY.  A combination of personal calls and a mailed flyer brought out about 14 people who joined.  Doug Schwegman and Kurt Meier founded the FTCC and have been officers and members ever since . Fred Haas, Fred Macke , and Dorothy South were also original members that are still active in the club .

Kurt's friend, Tim Newkirk, was a graphic designer and drew the first and only logo for the FTCC.

The FTCC's first event was a road trip around various points of interest in Cincinnati which was enjoyed by all.

MISSION STATEMENT Purpose of the Ft. Thomas Corvette Club is to encourage planned trips, events and social activities for members and sponsor a minimum of one annual charity, to provide and regulate events and exhibitions for Corvette owners, and to encourage careful and skillful driving on public highways.
